		<description>Then there was Obama&#039;s curious choice of Pastor Rick Warren to bless his presidency.  Warren has gone from a conservative family values-oriented spokesperson and advocate for California&#039;s Proposition 8 to someone who has said nothing about the victories for same-sex marriage in Iowa and Vermont.  Did Obama anticipate Warren&#039;s (tacit) about-face (even though he couldn&#039;t have predicted at least Vermont, let alone Iowa)?  Or was Obama&#039;s choice of Warren his idea of the right move (heh) at the right time?

Obama is an elegant ensemble of contradictions.  Hopefully his best instincts will continue to guide him and our country.
